Privacy Policy
Teeya Directories (directories.teeyatech.com), operated by Teeya Tech, is committed to protecting the privacy of business owners, enterprise buyers, and directory visitors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, protect, and display information across our public business directory and merchant console.
1. Private Pending Verification Guarantee
Every newly submitted business listing is created in strict Private Pending Verification (pending) mode. Until an authorized Teeya Directories Administrator verifies and approves your submission, your listing is never indexed on the public directory or returned to unauthenticated visitors.
2. Information We Collect
- Account & Authentication Data: Username, verified work email address, hashed password, and SHA-256 hashed Account Secret Keys (
tyd_...). Raw API secret keys are displayed only once at creation and are never stored in plaintext. - Public Business Profile Data: Brand name, uploaded brand logo, industry sector and sub-category, website domain, public contact email/phone/WhatsApp number, city/state location, and service offerings.
- First-Party Discovery Telemetry: Anonymized profile view counts, outbound website/WhatsApp click events, and city-level visitor aggregates used to power merchant engagement reports.
3. Customer Enquiries & Lead Capture
When a visitor submits an enquiry on a verified business profile, the enquiry details (sender name, email, phone, subject, and message) are delivered exclusively to that business owner's Lead Inbox inside their Teeya Directories workspace. We never sell or share customer enquiry data with third-party brokers.
4. Account Deletion & Data Removal
Business owners may delete any of their listings at any time from their workspace or via DELETE /api/v1/businesses/<id>/. Vendor Administrators may also permanently remove provisioned user accounts via DELETE /api/v1/admin/accounts/<identifier>/. For privacy inquiries, contact directory@teeyatech.com.
